This is Mark’s submission to “LOADED GUNS 2” held at BLUNT GRAFFIX in Chicago March 23, 2018. If you are old school Detroit or have family raised in Detroit in the early years of the last century there’s a good chance that you know of or have been exposed to the PURPLE GANG. The gang ran and controlled the streets of Detroit between roughly, 1920 and 1932. Mark kind of puts a distorted twist to a lot of his art and this ones is no exception.
